Xipeng Shen

Xipeng Shen is a Professor in the Computer Science Department at North Carolina State University. His primary research focuses on intelligent computing and programming systems, emphasizing interdisciplinary problems and cross-cutting approaches. His work has influenced the development of machine learning systems and programming systems for multicore processors and accelerators. He has received several awards, including the DOE Early Career Award, NSF CAREER Award, Google Faculty Research Award, IBM CAS Faculty Fellow Award, and the NCSU University Faculty Scholars Award. He is an ACM Distinguished Member and a Senior Member of IEEE. He has chaired numerous major international conferences and steering committees. In addition to his academic pursuits, Shen co-founded CoCoPIE LLC, a company focused on enhancing AI deployment. He has also served as a consultant or advisory board member for several leading IT companies, including Intel, Meta, Microsoft, and Cisco.
